You start the reverse auction by posting your order for free and by specifying in detail what you want to buy. Sellers compete against each other, in real-time auctions to win you as a customer, driving down the price in the process. They are given a specified time frame within they have to submit their offers. At the end, the lowest bidder wins the auction. You, as a buyer, have an option to choose a different bidder (seller) from among the participants if you desire so.
In order to buy items through a reverse auction, you must be a registered user. After you have registered, just follow these simple steps:
1- Click on "Sell" link
2- Select the "Wanted Items" category from the category lists box
3- Select a "Sub-Category"
4- Enter the "Location" and click "Next" button
5- Complete and submit the "Reverse Auction" form.
Title(Required) - Enter the title of the items you want to purchase.
Starting Price(Required) - This will set the Starting bid at the price you specify.
Reverse Price(Optional) - You may wish to put a reserve price on an item. This means that the item will not purchase until the current price equals or goes lower the reserve price amount.
Shipping Rates(Optional) - Select the shipping service you want use and the maximum amount you want to pay for the shipping.
Item Condition(Required) - Select the condition of the item you want to buy.
Accepted Payment Method(Required) - Select the payment method you want to use to pay for your item.
UPC(Optional) - If you know the UPC of the item you want to purchase, enter it here. That will help sellers to find the exact item you are looking for.
Return Policy(Required) - Select a return policy that you want have for your item.
Will Ship To(Required) - That will help sellers to see if they`ll be able to ship to your location.
Description - This is the most important part of posting an item and making a good purchase. This is where you need to type a complete description of your item. You must clearly and accurately describe the item you want. The more information and details that you provide in this field, the better the seller will know what item you need. If necessary use the brand name, model, size, material that it is made of and more.
Click "Next" button to continue
Listing Duration(Required) - Select the maximum number of days you wish your item to be auctioned.
Upload Base Image - If you have an image of the item you want to buy, you can upload it here. That will help sellers visualize and understand your needs.
Click "Confirm" button to continue
Review & Submit Listing
Review your listing and make sure the information you have entered is correct and accurate. Click on "Post Listings!" button to post your item.
